Ensuite accommodation comprising separate shower & w.c. room. Bar area serving drinks and meals.
Approx 0.5 mile 10 min walk into centre of city. The Wellbeck, Market Inn, and Wetherspoons Portland Hotel are closest, situated around an outdoor market, both serving good selection of real ales. The Rutland, a bit further on towards the railway, has an excellent variety and is a really nice boozer. Didn't try any of the ciders (after a day of ale at the cricket). Not many restaurants. Indian Blue, and 2 Chinese restaurants all within close proximity at the top of the hill outside railway station.
