Cricket ground: Short 5 minute walk to cricket ground from Chelmer hotel.

Limited on street parking.
Small room but smart decor, modern, large ensite shower & wc. Large, excellent breakfast to last spectators through to lunch.
A few pubs nearby, a few more if you venture into modern pedestrianised town centre - approach down Moulsham street to take in older part of town including pubs, restaurants, takeaways. Particularly handy for the cricket ground for those that don't want to venture too far after a busy day's cricket.
