Hove is another of my favourite awaystays. The Sussex Cricketers pub is right on the ground by the main entrance offering a good selection of real ales and reasonable food. The Brunswick, although not as close as some others, is situated a lot closer to the sea, handy for that early morning dip. The room I had was small but adequate. Breakfast was good. For a 3 night stay, the owner offered a special rate of £38 per night. It's situated close to a Preston Road where there are a plethora of restaurants & takeaways, and there are plenty of pubs nearby. On previous visits, I have walked down the coast to Brighton where there are plenty of pubs and restaurants to choose from.

Last stayed: Tuesday 16th - Friday 19th June 2009.
